Business Coaching for Therapists in Private Practice

Running a successful private practice requires far more than clinical skill alone, and many therapists leave graduate school feeling underprepared to navigate fee-setting, marketing, seeking referrals, and/or, developing a sustainable business model. As a business consultant for therapists in private practice, my goal is to help you build a practice that is both financially healthy and professionally fulfilling.

My bsuiness coaching services are particularly well suited for:

  • Therapists starting a private practice

  • Therapists wanting to build a private pay practice and/or transitioning from insurance panels to a private pay model

  • Therapists wanting to raise their rates confidently and ethically

  • Therapists needing help buidling and/or maintaining their caseloads

  • Therapists needing assistance developing a marketing strategy and/or optimizing their online visibility (e.g., SEO assistance)

  • Therapists needing assistance developing a mission and/or long-term plan for their private practice

Clinical Supervision and Consultation

The practice of psychotherapy is both a science and an art, and I am dedicated to sharing my craft and nurturing the next generation of psychologists. As a licensed clinical psychologist with over seven years of licensure, I am qualified to provide clincial supervision to pre-licensed psychologists seeking to fulfill post-doctoral supervision requirements. I am a particularly good fit for young psychotherapists seeking to develop a specialty in psychodynamic psychotherapy and/or in working with LGBTQIA+ clients.

In addition to clinical supervision, I am available for professional case consultation. In particular, I provide consultation for therapists seeking support with:

  • Providing affirming services to members of the LGBTQIA+ community, particularly gay or bisexual men and transgender clients.

  • Building competence in conducting evaluations and writing letters of support for transgender clients

  • Trauma-Informed and/or psychodynamic case conceptualization

  • Working through countertransference

  • Repairing therapeutic ruptures

  • Navigating ethical dilemmas and ethical decision-making
